What's on the programme for 2024?

The Last Night of the Proms is renowned for its jubilant and patriotic atmosphere, featuring a repertoire that often includes works by various composers. While the exact list may vary, here are some composers and compositions that have traditionally found a place in the festivities:

How do I Get Tickets?

Due to the immense popularity of the Last Night of the Proms, special booking arrangements apply. Here are several ways to secure your tickets:

Option 1. Five-Concert Ballot tickets

Booking tickets for at least five other Proms concerts at the Royal Albert Hall makes you eligible for the Five-Concert Ballot. Tick the 'ballot opt-in' box when booking online or inform the Box Office by telephone, in person, or by post. The ballot usually closes in early June, with successful applicants usually notified withing a fortnight.

Option 2. General Sale tickets

Any remaining tickets are usually available for the general sale in mid-July. There is a maximum limit of 2 tickets per booker. Visit the Royal Albert Hall website for more information about these dates in 2024.

Option 3. Whole Season Pass tickets

Whole Season Ticket holders have automatic access to the Last Night of the Proms. Claim your ticket online from midday the day before until 10 am on the day. Admission is not guaranteed if redeemed after 10.30 am on the day.


Option 4a. Day Promming tickets

Day Promming tickets can be purchased online on the day of the Last Night of the Proms from 10.30 am. These tickets usually cost £8 (including fees), and Prommers can book up to 2 tickets.

Option 4b. Five-Day Promming tickets

A limited number of Last Night Promming tickets are reserved for those who have attended five or more concerts. Eligible Prommers can purchase one ticket each on specific dates at the Box Office at Door 12. Please visit the Royal Albert Hall website for more information about these dates.

Option for Access Tickets and Special Arrangements

If you require a wheelchair space, book for five other concerts, and call the Royal Albert Hall Access Information Line on (+44) 0207 070 4410 by early June at the latest. Access tickets for the Last Night of the Proms usually go on sale in mid-July (maximum of 2 tickets per booker).


What to Bring and Security Measures

To ensure a smooth entry, consider the following:

  • Security checks will be in place.
  • Large bags are not permitted inside the auditorium.
  • Flags are allowed, but flagpoles must be less than 60 cm in length, and telescopic flagpoles of any length are not permitted.
